Jonny has been working in casting for 13 years. He began by working in Regional and West End Theatre and then, after three years, moved into TV and Film.
Throughout his years as an associate and assistant, Jonny has been privileged to work and learn from some of the most prolific Casting Directors in the UK. He has spent the last seven years working with Shaheen Baig on a wide range of TV series including; THE VIRTUES, THREE GIRLS, THE GALLOWS POLE, I AM series and GET MILLIE BLACK. Also Independent Films, such as; SCRAPPER, PIRATES, THE NEST, SUPERNOVA and RARE BEASTS.

Jonny has recently has been Co-Casting with Shaheen on the Television series of HANNA(Amazon Prime) and BOILING POINT(BBC).
From August 2023 Jonny started his own office, Jonny Boutwood Casting.
During this practical workshop Jonny will be working with everyone on sides, sent out a few days before. He will offer direction and advice on how best to approach audition material, with a focus on self-tapes in the current climate. The session will end with a Q&A.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
We are happy to offer full refunds on all standard 3hr workshops, provided we are given a full working 72hrs notice.
If only 24-72 hours notice is supplied a credit note will be issued, valid for 6 months and redeemable once.
A credit note or refund will not be issued for cancellations made inside 24hrs.

In the event we are forced to cancel a workshop, please note we cannot be held liable for any costs you might have incurred (travel/accomodation etc.)
